1. Create a new google docs or open an existing documentNote: All shared documents must be named 2a. Sharing directlyThe first method for sharing documents is by directly adding people/groups through the text box. This is best for small groups or a larger group that has their own email eg. grade1.1. The recipients will receive emails directly to their gmail inbox where they can access this document. 2b. Link SharingCopy your custom link that can be shared with as many people as possible. There are two options for sharing in this way: Restricted - Will only allow people who are added directly(Step 2a) to use this link International School Hannover Region - Anyone with an @is-hr.de email may access this link. Click "Copy link" and paste it anywhere, from a google chats message to a google classroom post. 3. Levels of PermissionThere are three levels of permission that you can give to someone accessing your document:
Viewer - People can view, but can't change or share the file with others. Commenter - People can make comments and suggestions, but can't change or share the file with others. Editor - People can make changes, accept or reject suggestions, and share the file with others. Select whichever suits the situation most(this can always be changed afterwards) and either copy the link or send the invite.
